Frequently asked questions

What should I send for a BOM review?

Send the clearest BOM you have, preferably with manufacturer, part number, quantity and a short application note. Drawings, photos, existing datasheets and protocol requirements help distinguish supply-only lines from components that need engineering review.

Will every BOM line receive a replacement?

No. Some lines may have a candidate replacement, subject to engineering review; others may need more information or should remain on the incumbent platform. The review records those limits instead of forcing a match.

When are price and lead time confirmed?

Price, availability, lead time, payment terms and warranty are confirmed at RFQ or at quotation after the model, quantity, configuration and destination have been reviewed.
