The 3onedata SW485WA converts one RS-232 interface to one RS-485 interface and draws power from the RS-232 TXD, RTS and DTR signal lines. Its official datasheet lists a baud rate up to 38400 bps, RS-485 distance up to 1200 m, support for 128 nodes, 1500 V photoelectric isolation, 600 W surge protection, 15 kV electrostatic protection, and -40 to +80 °C operation.
