Application Check →What the KC100 does not replace: If your G120 uses the PROFIBUS or PROFINET CUA31/CUM32 control module as the primary fieldbus, you'll need an optional communication card for the KC100. The KC100 also does not carry STO (Safe Torque Off) certification — use the KC200 if PLd functional safety is required. For straightforward I/O-controlled or Modbus applications, the KC100 is a drop-in equivalent at roughly 50% of the G120 list price.
V/F — Open-loop, simple speed control. Best for multi-motor applications or where load characteristics are constant and predictable.
SVC (Sensorless Vector Control) — Delivers 150% torque at 0.5 Hz without a speed encoder. Recommended for constant-torque loads: conveyors, compressors, mixers.
