Existing Schneider motion code and Lexium setup records can clarify the intended behavior. What needs re-engineering

Re-engineering covers sizing and pairing the axis, implementing motion functions in CoDeSys or the selected controller, mapping homing and limits, and tuning on the actual machine. EtherCAT or CANopen may provide the target motion network after topology, device profiles, update behavior, and diagnostics are reviewed. Connector pinout, regeneration, brake supply, cabinet conditions, and safety functions are validated separately. Recovery after position loss, interrupted motion, or a drive fault should be included in application testing. The accepted axis configuration, tuning set, homing sequence, and recovery notes should remain with the mechanical and controls documentation.
